Getting ready for the Sparkling Holiday night at VICTORY!
This year at VICTORY we’ve decided to enlist the help of two talented entrepreneurial women I met through the CRAVE Minneapolis book. We’re ready help our very stylish VICTORY customer manage their ever growing holiday to-do list! VICTORY’s Sparkling Holiday night will help with everything from getting out that always frustrating holiday card to styling your table and home with evergreens and fresh flowers. I am even opening the vault on my personal silver collection!
I’m so excited to have Antoinette from Paperista helping out with holiday Christmas cards. I know that for me it’s a chore every year, but there’s nothing so satisfying as when the last card is signed sealed and delivered…and Antoinette promises to help!
The talented Amy Backman from Spruce will on hand with gorgeous florals she’s arranged in many of the unique silver vessels from my collection. Feel free to engage her in a conversation about your own floral dilemmas!
Our fabulous neighborhood restaurant, Tosca’s new chef, Ian Gray, will be there to share a few of his culinary delights!
Here I am scouring for silver at my favorite silver dealer in London. The holidays are all about sharing… and there are plenty of stunning pieces from my collection for that!

October rolls around so fast every year. This year at VICTORY we’ve planned our own little breast cancer awareness fundraiser! Some of you may know that I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 and I’m happy to say I’ve been cancer free since 2006. Breast cancer is something I wish no woman would ever have to go through again. So please follow through on your yearly mammograms and make a commitment to doing a self exam once a month, that is what saved me!

The Isle of Capri Cocktail and Party Pics!
Our favorite shoppers braved the ominous forecast of the evening
and delighted in the Pizza Fritta, cocktails, and deals!
And now for that much requested recipe!
Isle of Capri Cocktail
Six fresh peaches- sliced
Two bunches of fresh mint
Muddled in a carafe or pitcher
Add:
Two cups of peach puree and crushed ice
Fill champagne flutes halfway with mixture
Top with Italian Presco
Garnish with a peach slice and a sprig of mint
Salute!
Right now Trader Joe’s has crates of fresh peaches
and always carries a great peach puree!
Party on!

Great New Things in New York!

We missed seeing Jonathan Adler this trip, but we so love the teal chair!
We sold out of these Turkish towels from France last summer. They will be back in VICTORY soon! You can not believe how they continue to soften wash after wash!
The soft grey-blue hand towel works perfectly in the kitchen. It’s the only towel that’s dressy enough to hang from my stainless steel appliances and complements my kitchen’s Carrera marble counter tops.
